There are some reasons behind Italy's move, one of the Italian technology security firms said that CHATGPT could not verify users' personal information and their age.
The company says that CHATGPT is collecting large amounts of users' personal information to properly use its algorithms to operate CHATGPT, which has no legal basis. Moreover, since it cannot verify the user's age, CHATGPT often gives inappropriate answers considering the human development and awareness of minors. Italy has banned CHATGPT mainly for these reasons.
